The Red Sun Ranch emblem on the front of the shirt, by Jennifer Villarreal, was created utilizing the Zia sun symbol, which represents the four directions, seasons, time of day and life seasons. In the center the sacred colors of the Lipan Apache: East (black), the West (Yellow), the South (Blue), and the North (White).
The back design, by Isela Villarreal, features the barn owl in the center with cactus, agave plant and sweet grass supporting it. Local flower varieties adorn the owl from above, with an appearance from a special friend as well.
Jennifer and Isela are both members of the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas.
